Marchenholm Publishing Ltd publishes The Marchenholm Index, an editorial consumer-testing publication covering UK-licensed sports bookmakers. We produce scorecards, pillar sub-measurements, compare-tools, and monthly re-audit data. We operate on an affiliate commercial model — we earn a commission when readers open an account with some (not all) of the operators we cover. Our affiliate disclosure is published at /affiliate-disclosure/.
Marchenholm Publishing Ltd does not accept bets, does not hold customer funds, does not facilitate gambling transactions, and does not hold a UKGC operating licence. We direct readers to UK Gambling Commission-licensed operators. No gambling activity occurs on our premises or systems.

1 — Acceptance
By using marchenholm.co.uk, you accept these Terms of Use. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
2 — Age restriction
marchenholm.co.uk is intended for readers aged 18 and over. A blocking 18+ age gate appears on first visit. By proceeding past the age gate, you confirm you are aged 18 or over. If we have reason to believe a visitor is under 18, we will terminate access.
3 — Affiliate relationships
Marchenholm earns affiliate commissions on some operator links — every affiliate link is a text link styled "→ Visit [operator]". Commercial disclosure is published at /affiliate-disclosure/. Commercial arrangements do not influence pillar scores, pillar weights, the index position, or placement on /best-for/. Scores are produced by the measurement desk before any commercial conversation.
4 — Editorial content
All scores, pillar sub-measurements and aggregate content are prepared by the Marchenholm measurement desk. The publication operates an institutional editorial voice — no named bylines are attached to scores. Our methodology is published at /methodology/. We correct errors within 48 hours of notification, and preserve the original value with a strike-through alongside the corrected value and the date of correction.

Content on marchenholm.co.uk is © Marchenholm Publishing Ltd unless otherwise credited. You may quote up to 150 words with attribution and a link back. Systematic reproduction, scraping, or redistribution requires written permission from legal@marchenholm.co.uk.
6 — Operator responsibility
Bookmakers we cover are separate UK-licensed businesses. We do not operate their services, hold their customer funds, or adjudicate their disputes. If you have a dispute with an operator, their own complaints process is the first route, followed by their ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) provider, which every UKGC-licensed operator is required to maintain under LCCP 6.1.

The UK Gambling Commission (gamblingcommission.gov.uk) publishes overall guidance and can take regulatory action, but does not adjudicate individual customer disputes — ADR is the designated route.
7 — Offer accuracy
We verify the welcome offers listed on our site weekly. Operators may change, suspend or withdraw offers at short notice. Always check the operator's own site for current terms before opening an account. Offer T&Cs are the operator's responsibility.
8 — Responsible gambling

9 — Liability
Editorial content is published in good faith and based on measurement conducted at the date shown. Operator services, odds, outcomes, winnings and losses are governed by the operator's own terms. Marchenholm Publishing Ltd is not liable for any outcome of gambling activity with any operator. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by UK law.
10 — Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11 — Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified on this page at least 30 days before effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
